This week we were supposed to go back to our home town. A few days ago, we noticed a consistently loud noise coming from our front tyres (or is it from under the hood?). I went and checked our front tyres and sure enough, it was in a really bad shape with scuff marks everywhere. We had no choice but to replace both of them which cost a cool 900 ringgit. An hour later, I'm still hearing that loud noise from the front. If it's not the tyres then what could it be?
So on Friday, I called our regular Proton service centre in Jalan Reko, requesting to send in our car for inspection and also servicing. Usually we had to book at least 3 days in advance but this time they gave us a pass. It was the wheel's bearing that's been making that noise and the good news is, it's covered under the warranty. The bad news is, it'll take 3 to 4 weeks for the spare part to arrive so they don't recommend us driving the car long distance. That means we won't be going back to our home town after all. So it's not all bad news ha ha.
With all those obstacles, maybe the universe is telling us something. Maybe it's best that we stay put and don't go anywhere this time.
