My lawyers said I’ll have to write something here or this blog will be forfeited. I am obliged to comply.

Just a little life update. If you recall Asif started kindergarten last year and will continue so until this year. He’s been a really good boy, rarely if ever throwing tantrums or crying and refusing to go to the kindergarten. We should probably potty-train him soon because he’ll be the only pupil going with diapers. In our defence, he’s barely 4.

Hana and Mia are still going to their old schools. Hana is in standard 6 now while her sister is in form 3. The only difference this year, Mia’s going to the morning session instead of the afternoon. At least I don’t wait until 7:00 PM to pick her up every weekday anymore.

Adam is still doing well at KTJ. He’s had his trials exam recently. While he didn’t do so badly, he didn’t get top marks for everything either. Normally we wouldn’t worry much about that, his sponsor demands that he gets at least 3 As from the 5 subjects that he’s taking. You see, it’s a little bit of pressure for him and indirectly for us. That said, we’re still confident that Adam will ace his A-Levels and get admitted into his preferred university whether in the U.K or America. If he goes to the U.K, we might be able to save enough money to tag along there. If it’s the U.S, we’re probably going to send him at the airport only.

It is coincidently the first day of Ramadan, 2023. For the 43 year old me, it’s just another fasting month. I can take the fasting anytime, no problem. It’s the sleepiness from waking up and not eating that’s challenging. Ramadan Mubarak everyone.
